One of the pleasures in being a music freak is the moment when you “discover” a new album that either floats or rocks your boat (alas so many sink without a trace into the murky depths of BM’s listening pool).
Last month we were sent the latest album from the Alex Tronic Label (based in Edinburgh) which is aptly entitled "To Infinity". This collection of songs covers a wide range of electronic music, from rootsy trance to songs with ripping guitar solos. Good stuff…even the oldies in the office were seen nodding their heads. Slowly..
A few phone calls and emails later and we are happy to announce that Paul Croan pka Alex Tronic has signed to our company. Paul is justifiably proud of his album as he says -“It gets kind of mad in places but we think it works well and is a bit different. Erik Tricity (guitarist) has brought some live energy to the cd and Ăsa (vocals) has an emotional depth which hints at the velvety suggestion of Goldfrapp.”
